Bus Service

Schools for learners with severe intellectual disabilities are few and far between. Our learners come from all over the East Rand thus the school provides a bus service. We serve learners from Kempton Park, Edenvale, Germiston, Primrose, parts of Boksburg / Benoni / Edenvale.

Minimal deviation from current routes will be entertained, as current routes have been developed such that they as cost effective as possible to the school. The bus service does not extend to areas where there is a closer similar school.

We have 12 buses on the road every day. The school provides transport at a minimum cost to parents. In 2009 our bus service cost us R1 260 128.82. The running cost of this service is largely covered by fundraising, bus fees and donations. Bus drivers are paid by the School Governing Body. Some of them have been in the employ of the school for many years.

Please Contact the school for any enquiries regarding the bus service.
